I love this outfit! Although I would put something under the shirt to make it a bit higher at the neckline :) |
Simple enough for everyday, yet nice enough for the mall! |
Now, here are few hair ideas. I wear a head-covering, so I am also going to list a few nice head-coverings as well.
Great for those who have long hair! |
So pretty! |
Lovely and very feminine ♥ |
This head-covering is so pretty and stylish! |
I love the colors in this head covering! It looks like it would stay on well too. |

Delicious Pumpkin Spice Muffins ♥
Hi again! Today I thought I would share one of my family's favorite muffin recipes. We like this recipe because it is oh, so easy, good, and we usually have the ingredients on hand :) And EVERYONE likes them in our family of 9, which is an added bonus ;) I'm sure you other large families know what I mean when I say it is a rare occasion for everyone to like a recipe! So, here it is! I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does!
Pumpkin Spice Muffins
Ingredients:
Pumpkin Spice Muffins
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (freshly grated if possible)
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/3 cup oil (we use peanut)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1/2 cup milk
For the coating-
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions:
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (freshly grated if possible)
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/3 cup oil (we use peanut)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1/2 cup milk
For the coating-
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*F.
Spray a muffin pan with cooking spray.
Pull out two large bowls.
In one bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, salt and spices.
In another bowl, whisk the oil, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, pumpkin and milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, and mix until just combined (do not over mix).
Divide the batter evenly into the muffin pan.
Bake 10-12 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
While the muffins bake, prepare the final coating.
Melt butter in one bowl and combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in another bowl.
Remove muffins from oven and cool for 2 minutes, or until just cool enough to handle. Dip each muffin in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar to coat. Or, if you don't want your's as sugary, just drizzle butter over each muffin, and then sprinkle with the cinnamon mixture. You probably won't use all the butter and cinnamon sugar mix, but this amount makes them easy to dip.Enjoy!
Yield: 12 muffins (I always double this recipe, and have no trouble getting rid of them:)

Greetings!
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog ♥ I've been wanting to start a blog for a long time, and finally, thanks to my wonderful Mom ♥ and good friends Julia and her sister, Bree, I am able to!!! Now, let me introduce myself :) My name is Abigail, and I enjoy cooking, READING, writing, cleaning, playing the piano, shopping, and crafting. The posts on this blog are going to be about anything from book and movie reviews, encouraging quotes and Bible verses, recipes, tutorials, modest fashion ideas, Christian encouragement, and every day life :) ! I will be posting whenever I can, and photos will be occasional, as I do not own a camera, but I will post some, when I have the chance to borrow one. I pray this blog will be a blessing to all who read it! Your sister in Christ,
Abigail S.M.
